Karoo cuisine at de Stijl Gariep Hotel
Here at De Stijl we are proudly Karoo. We use Karoo produce where possible - organic, fresh and local is what we believe in. This belief is what makes our food unique and as tasty and as special as it is. Our chefs are passionate about the area and are always on the look out for new ideas and ingredients, so relax, join us on a journey through the Karoo and the best it has to offer.
We are also proud to announce that we have started vegetable gardens nearby to provide the hotel with fresh seasonal produce and flowers, without the air and road miles, delivered fresh each day!
Our Mondrian Restaurant can seat up to 100 guests and is open to guests and day visitors for all meals. The Mondrian Restaurant at de Stijl is open at the following times;
Breakfast – 07:00 – 10:00
Lunch – 12:00 – 15:00
Dinner – 18:30 – 22:00

Please see our blackboard for today’s menu, the chef has used the freshest seasonal ingredients in today’s selection. We also offer special dietary requirements for Vegetarian, Vegans, Halaal, Kosher and diabetics (by prior arrangement).
To accompany your meal we have a full bar and a young but vibrant award winning wine cellar, brimming with excellent South African Wine.
Children also have their own menu of sumptious yet ‘mom approved’ meals.
